Attention March Learning Activities
Music
- Dynamics is the varying levels of loudness or softness. Children march around the room in time to the beat. When the teacher turns the volume down low the children tiptoe softly and when the teacher turns the volume up the children stamp loudly.
- Let different children have a turn at controlling the volume.
Health
- Discuss why being fit is good for you?
Dance
- Ask children to create the moves to match the words of the song.
- Children then view the video song on YouTube and compare the actions with their own ideas.
- Create a dance vocabulary listing different dance pathways e.g. left, right, straight, zig zag, curved, diagonal
Literacy
- Sing and read along to the YouTube song to achieve multi-sensory learning 'Do it, see it and hear it!'

- Read the song lyrics - ask children a variety of questions.
