Once In Silly Land Learning Activities
Music
- Make silly instruments to go with the song e.g. pebbles in a plastic bottle; threaded bottle tops, rubber band guitar, banging a pot or pan with a wooden spoon etc.
Dance
- Listen to "Once in Silly Land" and ask children to suggest ideas for silly moves to go with each verse.
- Children then view the video song on YouTube and compare the moves with their own ideas.
- Challenge - play the instrumental version of the song and match the moves.
Drama
- You wake up and find yourself in "Silly Land"
