- Beat and Rhythm – Divide the children into two groups. One group will play to the beat of the song, slap knees in time to the beat (pulse of the song) the other group slaps knees in time to the rhythm of the song (the short and long sounds that fit over an underlying beat).

- Guess the character: Lady, gentleman, farmer, old man. Mime one of the characters and others have to guess which character you are.

- What are the different types of horses? Make a collage e.g. police horse, race horse, horse and cart etc.
