Music

• Listen to the song and ask children to sing this song with expression. Perform the song to an audience demonstrating an understanding of the message of the song.
• Challenge - invite individual children or small groups to sing and perform the song with the instrumental version.

Dance

• Teacher plays a beat on a drum or claps hands.
• Fast and slow shapes - have the students change shapes each time they hear the drum or clap beat. Vary the speed of the beat so that the shapes are held for longer or shorter times.

Drama

• Mime a 'happy or sad' scene and others guess what is happening.

Literacy

• Sing and read along to the YouTube song to achieve multi-sensory learning 'Do it, see it, hear it!'
