Music

• Finger plays and action songs help to develop fine motor skills and gross motor co-ordination. Ask children to create the actions to the words of the song.
• Children then view the video song on YouTube and compare the actions with their own ideas.
• Play the instrumental version of the song and match the moves.

• Draw or paint "Incy Wincy Spider".

• Explore the movements of a spider - how can you use your whole body to move like a spider?

• Read the song lyrics - ask children a variety of questions.
• Re-read the song lyrics and ask children to join in.
